Connect Azure SQL Database (PAAS) to SQL Assesment -

i have existing azure sql db (paas solution) in resource group 1. created new oms work space in log analytics resource group 2. want connect sql db in resource group 1 oms work space sql assessment in resource group 2.

how can enable connectivity ?

i followed article https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/log-analytics/log-analytics-sql-assessment

if understand correctly , don't need install agent. how can add sql db sql assessment .

currently see no db connected in sql assessment

you can't, sql assessment solution designed on premise sql server or sql database (iaas). azure sql database(paas), should use the azure sql analytics solution instead of sql assessment.

the azure sql analytics solution doesn't use agents connect log analytics service.
