wifi - Reading debug messages without USB serial connection on ESP8266 Arduino -

i have setup nodemcu work ota (over air) updates in arduino ide. great no longer need plugged in via usb upload new sketches.

however, cannot read of debugging information on serial.

how see debugging information without usb cable?
